SCC is pleased to be working with the Northstar Problem Gambling Alliance in their search for their new Executive Director.
The Northstar Problem Gambling Alliance (Northstar), a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by problem gambling through advocacy, education, training and research, is conducting a search for an Executive Director. This position is available due the retirement of its current Executive Director, who enjoyed a long and successful career with Northstar.
Qualified candidates will possess exceptional skills in the areas of administration, media relations, public presentations, and public policy/advocacy. Equally important, this position requires a leader with a passion for working in a mission-driven organization.
Specific credentials should include:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in human services, behavioral health, education, business, or public administration.
Experience: Ten years or more of leadership experience in mission-driven settings.
